In the interest of full disclosure, I live deep in the ghetto on the "wrong side" of I-275 in Tampa. They are one of the few business that are willing to brave the perils of the hood and deliver me food when I don't feel like getting off my ass.Regardless of my limited options, I applaud Ho Hos prompt delivery of decent food under the circumstances. Half the time the person that answers the phone does not have a firm grasp on the English language, but frankly that just adds to the cultural experience that I expect when ordering far easy cuisine.It's Chinese food for God's sake. Most Chinese delivery restaurants wouldn't pass a thorough health inspection on a daily basis, but frankly that's part of the cultural experience as well. Ho Ho's is, at worst, on par with what you should expect from any Chinese restaurantThe door bell rang rang while I was typing this review, and I was delighted to see a friendly Ho Ho's employee waiting with my order. They were 20 minutes early and the guy even had change for a $100. Oh, and the food is fucking delicious.Ho Ho's earned and deserves all 5 stars i awarded them.

On: 2/26/2013 10:27:00 PM Terrible, I order sesame chicken and the sauce was no sesame sauce at all, it was KETCHUP you hear that KETCHUP, I know Chinese food when I see it, I was skeptical at first but then I started eating it my friends notice this smell of ketchup coming out of my place, at first I thought it was a joke but then I started to smell it, looking at it from a sauce point of view and it turns out to be ketchup. Sesame sauce is supposed to be sticking honey like texture this was more of a ketchup sauce from the top of the bottle when you don't shake it. I will not order again.

I walked in and ordered off the menu and got it to go. I went with a standard of Mongolian Beef. I got the combo that included an egg roll and soup as well. The egg rolls were fantastic. The Hot and Sour soup was quite good too, decent, but when I added the fried noodles they included it become much better. A bit thick maybe but it could have just been today. The Mongolian Beef was pretty good though definitely not the best I've had. Better than any other in Tampa though. It had a lot more vegetables than most but just as much meat. The best thing is that they actually have fresh hot peppers (Thai) that they used to spice my food! Being a heat lover it has always upset me that no Chinese restaurant knows how to spice stuff up. Luckily Ho Hos did. I will definitely be returning.

The few times that I have ordered to go, I have never waited over 10 minutes. I usually get the orange chicken or ribs and it tastes fresh and is made on the spot. The workers are always friendly and they also deliver.

	Reviewed by : Anonymous On: 2008-08-25 This food was so greasy! The eggroll was literally dripping grease. I ordered boneless BBQ spare ribs, what I got was slabs of meat in BBQ sauce. I'm not even sure it was pork, I'm pretty sure ribs don't come as flat round disks. I do not recommend this place. They have a $12 delivery minimum, and they add the tip in before it's delivered. The $12 does not include the tip either. Not worth it.?
